This is a picture of Mountain Shadows. The fire spread very quickly due to 60 mph winds, and today was the hottest day in Colorado Springs on June 26 ever recorded in history. Many houses and other structures have burned due to this fire, but no one is sure how many. The time when the fire spreads the worst is between 10am and 6pm. The entire northeast part of Colorado Springs is evacuated.
